FiveShards presents the Ruby Cup, Season 4!

We are pleased to share with you the details of the FiveShards Ruby Cup, Season 4! You can find all of our tournament dates here.

On August 13th, 9:00am PDT (17:00 CET), the greatest Entrathian shard-slingers will compete for a chance to take home the coveted Ruby Cup; this is the third cup in the fourth season of the FiveShards Shard Cup Series.

The Ruby Cup is standard constructed; all current PVP sets are legal and any current cards banned for competitive PVP are also banned for the tournament.

To register, sign up for free in-client on the tournament that says “Community Tournament” within the client on the tournament page. That’s right, this tournament happens within in-client! The tournament will be Swiss followed by a cut to the top 8.

3rd-4th: 16 Set 4 Packs

10th-16th: 6 Set 4 Packs

Streamer Prizes

To encourage streaming of the tournament, we are going to do a few drawings for every streamer we put on the main channel. Each streamer can only get on the list once; so, if you stream and we feature you, you may get a nice after-tournament bonus!

We will be drawing the door prizes at the conclusion of round 2 for all players who remain in the tournament. To be eligible for Door prizes, the client must not have said you dropped in round 1 or 2.

The FiveShards account will send out prizes after the tournament concludes.

Cup Points

  • 1st: 15 points
  • 2nd: 13 points
  • 3rd/4th: 11 points
  • 5th-8th: 9 points
  • 9th: 8 points
  • 10th-16th: 6 points
  • 17th-32nd: 4 points
  • 33rd-64th: 2 points
  • 65th or higher: 1 point

Specific Rules

Since this is in-client, our rule set is much smaller this time around.

Feature Match Policy: If you are playing in the Ruby Cup and are streaming, we take that as consent that you are willing to allow us to use your stream as a feature match on the main channel ( If, however, you would not like us to do this, please let us know as soon as possible and we will not host your stream.
